Harry Ten Shilling has been welcoming guests since 1977. Since 1998, our family has proudly continued that tradition, as the next generation takes the reins to carry it forward. While much has evolved over the years, our commitment to warm hospitality, quality food, and a memorable afternoon tea experience remains at the heart of everything we do.

Today, we honour the memory of our late chef and business partner, Robert, by serving our own interpretation of the classic Afternoon Tea experience. Our signature Afternoon Tea is served in the back tea room, offering a relaxing escape where friends and family can gather over freshly prepared food and premium loose-leaf tea.

In addition to Afternoon Tea, we also offer a selection of light lunches. While we highly recommend experiencing our signature Afternoon Tea, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

If you're visiting Shakespeare or simply passing through, we invite you to stop in. Browse our wide selection of loose-leaf teas, homemade baked goods, and handcrafted macarons, or stay and enjoy a meal with us.

Reservations are recommended to ensure seating and the best menu selection, but we are often happy to accommodate walk-in guests whenever possible.
